Anderson Plug | Ignition Controlled Isolator Kit
Anderson Plug | Ignition Controlled Isolator Kit
Anderson plug DIY kit with 100Amp ignition controlled isolator
Everything you need to install an Anderson plug with a 100amp isolating relay or solenoid on your car for towing with a professional finish. Your choice of 7m of either 6 B&S (13mm2) or 4 B&S (20.26mm2) heavy gauge cable pre wired to a midi fuse holder with all joins heat shrunk and soldered.
This Anderson kit is perfect for vehicles that have a smart (variable voltage) alternator. With an ‘add a’ circuit fuse holder this kit allows you to tap into an ignition circuit in the cars under bonnet fuse box to allow the relay/solenoid to turn on and off with the key. Having an isolator on your Anderson plug means that when the car is turned off the cars main battery is fully isolated from the caravan battery bank and can not be flattened by any current draw in the caravan.
Different Colour Anderson Plugs Now Available: Please choose the Anderson Plug colour to match your trailers Anderson. Different colour Anderson Plugs are not compatible.

Difference between the Relay and Solenoid?
The solenoid and relay both do the same job. (See description above)
The black relay is smaller with a single mount which helps it fit easier into more locations, with a smaller foot print.
The solenoid is a heavier duty solid steel dual mount which means it requires more room to mount. (See images for reference)
